What was really exciting is that they had a recorded greeting from the area where I had lived in Tanzania (a truly local language called Kichagga).
It was nice to see how a volunteer lives in her village: her neighbors were her friends, she had learned to speak some of the local language (Kichagga), and she seemed to be doing some amazing work.
