- London, Brighton and South Coast Railway
Sorry, no etymologies found.
Four 'Big Ben' style faces mark the minutes over the platforms with the gilded LBSCR letters reminding us that Brighton was once the terminus of the London, Brighton & South Coast Railway.
I will work through my sources re LBSCR ships in due course although there were some other sections I want to add to the article (accidents, signalling) as well as some expansion elsewhere.
Altogether, Bradley's books in this series were: one each for the SER, LCDR, SECR (1960-1963); two for the LSWR (1965-7); three for the LBSCR (1969-74); two for the SR post grouping classes
BTW there is a lot of LBSCR ships in Klaus Marx, Lawson Billinton a career cut short (2007)
