I think Moffat is much like Chris Carter or Abrhams of Lost, in that he thinks he can go on tossing out cryptic clues and thereby create a mythology.

As for series 5, I have no interest in watching it so long as Moffat is driving, but I would NOT put it past him to make things emo sparkletastic like Twilight because that is what's in. * gag* So he can keep his Eleven.

It does look like it could be for a companion dream sequence ... which would explain the flowery dress ... if, indeed, Moffat is going to acknowledge Rose's place in things.

I know people accuse RTD of loving his Mary Sues (they mean Rose), but Moffat is even more guilty of this because he has several (Reinette, Sally Sparrow), one of which is River Song.
