Last week, Microsoft bought a company called Opalis that specializes in software to manage data centers.

The only limitation using Opalis is that the maximum potential is in async Services like adding Computers to SCCM or processes with human steps involved.

In most of the cases the Services are Interfaces given by Programs or Servers, but this limits the capabilities especially when the target system is something like SCCM which does not have any easily accessible Interface like a Webservice and thats the Point where Opalis comes to the playground.

The trick now would be to use Opalis as middleware between the Service Broker and the Service or you can see it as Part of the Service.

If you would need a synchron call you would have to find a way back from Opalis to the Broker which adds additional complexity to the architecture.
