After doing the Oysterhead record, I liked starting on somebody else's thought, so having Ler bring in the riff for "Jilly's On Smack" and then building off of it is amazing, or "Eternal Consumption Engine" and building off of that and trying to support his vision, that's a whole new portion of your brain that you're using for this creative element.

The trio featuring Jordan Copeland on drums yep, son of ex-Police drummer Stewart Copeland, who played with Mr. Claypool in Oysterhead makes funky, zig-zaggy rock, though it tosses blues and ska into the blender as well, with lyrics from the Zappa/Claypool school of sophomoric humor.
