I'm not sure why we got stuck on *septm but since we're here, I could probably mention about having crafted a hypothesis on how to get Finno-Permic *śeŋćim- out of that.
My etymological dictionary suggests an Iranic origin as also possible for the latter, but the lack of cognates in Permic etc. languages makes this seem dubious.
