Philogynist where are the days going? i played squash for the first time in 20 years with broszkowski two days ago and it worked muscles i forgot i had. of course now i find myself in not-quite-agony with only a day to go before the day-long charity dodgeball tournament. dodge, dive, dip, duck and drop to the floor completely out of gas.

Philogynist so yesterday i belatedly dropped off rent to my very nice landlords, a couple of bankers who live in a charming house not far from the condo. as usual they invited me in to chat, and it was a only a few minutes after accepting that they handed over a baggie of what looked to be a half-ounce or so of pot.

Philogynist yeah, i've shelved the post i was teasing about. it dealt with an abstract concept of really appreciating beautiful things in life and how it's made me feel lately, but i'm no poet nor gifted enough as a writer to bring it together in the manner that it deserves.

Philogynist the days are getting busy. the nights, they haven't ever let up, but the days were long and empty for a good 3 months there. lots of time to think, to read, to write. now, not so much. my project is starting to gain some momentum, but i think i need to be able to apply the verb 'snowballing' before i share the details.

Philogynist i brought my friend of 25 years to the kids in the hall party at the riv tonight. we met at the university of toronto nerd camp for gifted kids in the summer of '85. i remember him inviting me to come to the old cbc building to see a live taping of the old show many years ago and i never did it. regrets are something i am done with.

Philogynist i saw avatar in 3d imax with broszkowski on wednesday before the shopping debacle. i was so successfully romanced by the visuals that i think i really liked the movie. i may have felt a small emotional yank when the animals attacked the baddies. i may have been wearing my skirt.
