  • Chinese family including Charles Jones Soong (c. 1866–1927), a Methodist missionary and businessman, and his son T.V. Soong (1894–1971), premier of the Nationalist government (1945–1947). One of his daughters, Soong Ch'ing-ling (1892–1981), married Sun Yat-sen, and another, Soong Mei-ling (1897?–2003), married Chiang Kai-shek.
