I have attempted to take Tri-Rail to work back when I was working occasionally across the street from the University of Miami and it was, to say the least, an Exciting Experience, almost always heralded by my flight to my car and a mad dash to Coral Gables praying that traffice wouldn't be bad.

There's a lot of reasons for this -- most people, outside of some people in Cypress Creek or Boca, don't actually work and/or live near Tri-Rail, so taking Tri-Rail involves the excitement of using the county bus systems, and after trying those, most people feel sad and depressed and head back to cars.

A more important reason, however, is the same reason I never, ever take Tri-Rail when I actually need to get anyplace:

I am frankly not entirely sure why Tri-Rail even bothers to print a schedule, since clearly they aren't following it.
