Just to say, when we did the deal with Xiph, our intent was most definitely to give away the IP completely, and allow anyone anywhere to use both the code and the patents to implement Theora nee Vp3.

FTR, you've had two patches rejected and several more accepted if the twelve hits from Xiph.

The new agreement between Google and Xiph should be about the patents and not about the source code.
