  • Yes, yarb, of fish and chips. Finger pie was current slang for teenage fondling. So fish finger is the link for the pun, I guess. And finger pies probably occurred behind the shelter in the middle of the roundabout.

    I've seen a report that the Blue Album had your version of the lyrics quoted and it was not the correct wording.
