There are almost 200 species of reptiles and amphibians including at least 7 poisonous snakes, American crocodile Crocodylus acutus (V), brown caiman Caiman crocodilus, green iguana Iguana iguana, green turtle Chelonia mydas (E), loggerhead turtle Caretta caretta (E), and leatherback turtle Dermochelys coriacea (E).
