I'll simply resort to all that "stuff" some of us do whenever racism enters the conversation as an explanation for something that may be more universal than not...that something that knows nothing of race or other socially constructed frames for human traits that we'd rather not claim as our own, but something that appears at most births faster than the after-birth.
