• Relating or related to the other hand; related as one hand of an individual is to the other hand of the same individual; similar, correspondent, or identical in form, as the right hand is to the left, though on opposite sides of the body and the parts are arranged in reverse order: opposed to *homochiral. See also heterochiral.
