- A family of fossil arthropomatous brachiopods with the brachial appendages rigid and spirally coiled toward the center of the shell, and completely supported by spiral la mellæ, the valves generally subovate or tri-lobed, the foramen beneath a produced beak completed by a deltidium, and the shell-substance fibrous and impunctate.
