  • A system of quackery in which mental problems are treated with extracts from plants. It is based on the idea that energy bound in flowers has a regulatory effect on the mental conditions of man. The flowers are collected at the height of flowering season, placed in spring or well water and subsequently exposed to sunlight. According to Bach, the energy of the flowers will thus be transferred to the water. To ensure their physical preservation, the extracts are combined with brandy (now, that is medicine!) and further diluted.

A few drops of one of the remedies so prepared is supposed a large number of mental problems. Why waste money on a shrink, when flower power will do the same job?

This system enjoys great popularity. So does astrology.
