Hence you can see, there are a number of combination to use depending on what is needed. dun quite agree with you on this. the reconciliation for marginal costing (MC) and Absorption costing (AC) can actually be done by memorising the format. (of course i'm not saying that we shld just memorise without understanding) the format taught by balwant singh
