This is supposed to be the longerst word in the English language--longer than antidisestablishmentarianism. As such, the meaning is particularly fun since it signifies a total waste of time. It is very difficult to use in a sentence: Your time here is now floccipaucinihilipilification by any standards.

As this is a candidate for the longest word, it is useful to point out that longer words can be formed by boiler-plating chemical names, but those are constructs which do not qualify.
