Deeter, I got the chance to cast an Orvis Helios 8wt that had a battenkill large arbor reel on it while I was in Florida a few weeks ago, Those things are great! there so light and throwing a 100 foot cast with one of those things is effortless for me.

i would have to agree the orvis battenkill mid arbor reel and they are dependable and not to bad on price look into it

i'll keep my copy and savor the irony. i hear irony is good for red blood cell production. maybe next year i'll beat snob's time at battenkill.
