J_A yeah i've been saying since it started that the only true way to end 24 would be with bauer's death. but since fox needs to squeeze out the last possible dime out of the series, they're going for the movie ... so that means jack's not gonna die. kiefer stated in another interview that the series finale will leave jack with only one option, clearer than ever before. so we'll see. i doubt that that option will be dying. more likely, he'd have to pull the trigger on someone else. tony? renee? chloe?

Still, for tradition's sake, I will close out the series and can only hope that big screen Bauer will drop all the kitsch and improbability of the series and do what's right for the medium of film. jason b i feel that the problem with ending bauer's life, is that there is nobody left who really matters in his life, to surround him, and give him the respect that he deserves. they just started killing off everyone who mattered to shock us and keep us on our toes. its bad writing and disappointing.
