I was too young and in the wrong place at the wrong time for jungle, too indie and poor for 2-step (though I loved the singles) and though I was a major grime enthusiast for a while, I won't lie and say I was making brrap noises at Eskimo Dance, because I wasn't - my experiences of grime live were as sanitised as can be, as will be explained in part 2 (or 3, or 4).
