  • noun A genus of longicorn beetles, of the family Cerambycidæ, having an acute scutellum, lateral prothoracic spines, and fore-coxal cavities closed behind. C. moschata is a large bronzed green European species about an inch long, exhaling a musky odor; C. splendidum is a bronzed reddish species of the southern United States. Also Colachroma.
