They lost me in the beginning with "Xander Cage has been killed" (and that's it with the main char. from the first movie).

One person is main char. everyone else is random thug/baddy. but with checkpoints and the like, so a set number of lives for the baddies for each section. the single player must then get through areas, just as a single player game would.
