  • Cracker Jack is a brand of snack consisting of caramel-coated popcorn and peanuts. It is also well known for being packaged with a "Toy Surprise Inside" of nominal value. This attained pop-culture status with the term "came in a Cracker Jack box" referring to an object of no real value.

    Chorus of Take Me Out to the Ballgame:

    Take me out to the ball game,

    Take me out with the crowd;

    Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack,

    I don't care if I never get back.

    Let me root, root, root for the home team,

    If they don't win, it's a shame.

    For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,

    At the old ball game.
