  • i had recalled cueto's name toward the end of last season along with homer bailey's but felt that they probalby wouldnt get a chance to "arrive" at the big league level with the leadership in place running that organization.

  • A fight broke out and cueto thought he was defending himself and or his teammates.

  • Phillps said what he said about the uniform and culture not about Molina but Molina did what he thought was right defending his team. @#$% happens and to the Moron who thought cueto being suspended during a playoff run.

  • I'm all for acquiring better players (like a RH power hitter or whatever) but I personally think trading away our youth (like cueto, stubbs, or homer) would be a huge mistake.

  • That would be really nice for the future, because unless we trade him, and unless Heisey is better than average, that is going to be a hole for a while, no? but i'd have dickerson and stubbs flippy floppied. not that it'd happen too too often, but i think stubber would have a shot at more 2-run shots than dickerson would, and i like dickerson's OBP up top (not to mention that i don't see stubbs grounding into too many double plays with his speed.) i'm not ok with trading either of them to make room for chapman but if i absolutely had to pick one i would pick harang. this decision isn't based on his performance. if i had to guess i say they send leake down when that time comes. this is assuming bailey and cueto aren't completely tanking too. there's no way leake will pitch like he did sunday every time out. the odds are almost decisively against him.

  • i dont think they have 3 of the 5 best pitchers in the league, duh. but …. harang, cueto and volquez all have the potential to be a top 5 cy younger. he doesnt miss starts and racks up a ton of IP and wins. call me old school, but i like him on the roster big time.
