  • noun In candy-making, a machine for coating with chocolate the prepared candies cast from the depositing-machine by dipping wire-work trays filled with them in hot chocolate, removing the surplus, and hardening and drying. It makes finished chocolates that exactly resemble those dipped by hand. See depositing-machine and *starch-buck.
