• An order of the class Hydrozoa and subclass Scyphomedusæ, including the discophorous hydrozoans, or Discophora in a strict sense, as those acalephs commonly called jelly-fishes: so called from the large umbrella-like disk which these organisms possess.
• Same as Octomeralia.
