The point of my missive to which you respond here is that absent all this doofiness about deciding on a candidate in a vacuum (where it's usually noisy and dusty, of course), a vote for Nader in 2000 was a vote that, as Nader himself said, there wasn't a dime's worth of difference between the two parties, and that a Gore presidency would have been comparable to the awful nightmare of the past 6.5 years.
