I see these guys quite a lot. I like them because they're very cheerful birds. I needed to see a cheerful bird this morning, I really did.

I read this page four times and still saw double-barrelled finch, until I clicked on the links and finally read it correctly.
I would still like to see a double-barrelled finch.

Well that's the thing, if you see one you're likely to see four because they're usually in groups, all falling over each other and hopping around and playing all kinds of games. Quadruple-barrelled, perhaps.

Well, that would be more like a double-barrelled flock, which is not the same thing as a double-barrelled finch. They are definitely cute as the dickens though.
