Within one small object I carried 23 books and one article (I could have taken many more, of course), loaded onto the eReader from a variety of formats -- some converted from rtf files, some free pdf files, and a few books I purchased via the Sony store (which did not lock up my eReader as I had feared, as the other books were downloaded via my iMac, but I am sure I will lock up the eReader soon enough).

The eReader is expensive, and the ebooks purchased through their store are quite overpriced in my estimation, but the screen is really fabulously readable for someone like me. (
