It's real name is an egg-tooth, but I am darned if I can remember ever blogging about it.
The egg-tooth, a hard little knob between the nostrils on top of the nose, like a flattened cone, was clearly visible.
The chicks escape their snowy white casing with the aid of an egg-tooth.
