So we dropped a note to our good friends Patrick Q.entin (and Q. Patrick) and asked them how they have fared in the matter of transatlantic title changes.
Q. Patrick is one of three pseudonyms used by Richard W. W.bb and Hugh C. W.eeler - the other two are Patrick Q.entin and Jonathan Stagge.
Later, when their collaborative output skyrocketed and, like Cornell Woolrich, they found themselves with too many books to be brought out under one name, they appealed to their publisher who suggested the "Topsy - Turvy Method" of fabricating a pen name - reversing Q. Patrick to Patrick Q.entin.
