  • A family of rotifers having the trochal disk rounded, the wreath in interrupted curves and clusters, the trophi submalleate or virgate, lorica in two parts meeting in a furrow or entire with additional pieces, and the foot jointed, feebly retractile, not telescopic or transversely wrinkled, furcate or stylate.
