I've have guns with box mags that are as hunting accurate as guns with blind mags or hinged floorplates, so the extra strength of a full stock doesn't carry any water with me.

I understand that bench rest shooters like the extra stiffness provided by blind magazines, but past that I don't see any difference between floorplates and detachable magazines.
