I have opened a g-mail account, and use that most frequently now, but I have some web pages and other places with [old] aol e-mail addresses which I cannot change, so I will keep them and check in with them once a month or so.

LEVS: Google shouldn't really have a way to know who you are unless you sign into g-mail, sign into YouTube, one of their services that requires to you sign in there.
