  • noun In pathology, a morbid flow or deficiency of milk.
  • noun [capitalized] A leguminous genus of prostrate or twining herbs, or rarely shrubs, of no importance. There are about 50 species, mostly of the warmer portions of America, 15 species occurring in the eastern United States. The more common, G. glabella and G. mollis, are known by the name of milk-pea.
