  • noun A trimmer employing more than two saws, each saw being suspended upon a swing-frame and all being controlled by levers to enable the operator to use any number or group of saws, within the capacity of the machine, in trimming stock of different lengths. All machines are fitted with automatic feed-chains to bring the stock to the saws.
