• The geckos as a super-family of eriglossate lacertilians with biconcave vertebræ, dilated and proximally loop-shaped clavicles, and undeveloped postfrontal and postorbital bony arches. The group is conterminous with the single family Gecconidæ. Also Geckonoidea.
