I highly recommend it to those that like to watch very controversial films, films with lots of “ewwwwww” moments, gorehounds and, of course, those that hold a special place in their hearts for cannibals.

Cannibal Holocaust (1980) 2010

This film is not for the faint-of-heart, though gorehounds will absolutely eat this up.

Ichi the Killer (2001) 2010

The DVD cover touts it as “POSTIVELY THE MOST HORRIFYING FILM EVER MADE!” and “This is the one that historians and gorehounds alike still speak of with shock and awe, the movie that is so extreme that audiences were given free barf bags!”

Mark of the Devil (1970) 2010

A lot of it is just a bloody knife and some blood on a shirt, but the disemboweling scene, and the throat slashing are both pretty decent, and will give the gorehounds something to cheer about.

Scream (1996) 2010

There is nothing too impressive here and certainly nothing to impress the gorehounds.

Penny Dreadful (2006) 2010

This is a production for fans of cheesy 50′s sci-fi, not seasoned gorehounds.

Mansquito (2005) 2010

There were also some choice cuts of bloody gore, far more than I was expecting, which should please all you gorehounds out there.

The Wolfman (2010) 2010

It will not appeal to gorehounds or those looking for slasherific satisfaction, as it is more of an intelligent and subtle horror film.

The Hamiltons (2006) 2010

The family also has more kids this time out, and while it makes sense that more kids should equal more kills, gorehounds should note that this will be a PG-13 picture.

Regular horror fans may be bored at the repetitive nature of the film and gorehounds will be disappointed by lack of memorable kills though there are plenty of blood and body parts flung around.
