  • A family of sertularian hydroids in which the hydrocaulus consists of an axial tube which carries the hydrothecæ and is surrounded by and inseparably coalesced with peripheral tubes without hydrothecæ. The hydrothecæ are adnate to the axial tube. The typical genus is Grammaria.
