  • noun A genus of geometrid moths, founded by Hübner (1816), having slender palpi, plumose antennæ, the fore wings narrow and much pointed, and a deep ocherous color, with pink extradiscal spots. H. grataria is found from Maine to Texas, feeding in the larval state on plants of the genus Polygonum.
