- A remarkable heteropterous family, allied to the Reduviidæ, in which the upper wings are entirely membranous, as in
Hymenoptera , and the anterior pair of legs is greatly enlarged. Twelve species are known, two occurring in the United States; they are Henicocephalus culicis and H. formicinis.
