  • A remarkable heteropterous family, allied to the Reduviidæ, in which the upper wings are entirely membranous, as in Hymenoptera, and the anterior pair of legs is greatly enlarged. Twelve species are known, two occurring in the United States; they are Henicocephalus culicis and H. formicinis.
