  • noun A genus of cyclostomatous Bryozoa of the family Cerioporidæ which have ramose or massive zoaria, zocecia with rounded apertures, and abundant interstitial tubes. It abounds in the Jurassic and Cretaceous rocks and has existed to the present time.
