• noun A mineral occurring with green melanite crystals in the phonolite of the Marienberg near Aussig, Bohemia. It is isotropic, has an octahedral form, and, in composition, is near lawsonite, having perhaps the same formula (H₄CaAl₂Si₂O₁₀).
