  • noun An Arabian measure of capacity, nearly equal, according to Queipo, to 33 liters. According to Eliyâh and the Sheikh Hasan el Jabarti, generally 90 rotl (which see), or 8 makkoûk, but sometimes less. Also spelled cafiz.
