One thing that really ticked kaneda off (aside from the folded steak - seriously who folds steak???!!!) was that after asking us about drinks first of all, they neither cleared the finished glasses nor asked us if we would like any others ... for the entirety of the meal, made for a messy and crowded table ... among other things, just all around bad ...

I would prefer to see someone like Studio Ghibli taking this story and turning it into an anime series to give the story its full scope and the backing it would need babyjaypan i just don't see how they could make a live action version of akira witthout totally raping it. i personally don't really wanna see it unless it can be as good as the original although the end was kinda "ehhhh..." for me leo dicaprio as kaneda hahahaha. it's wierd cuz this movie is so credited in america, but in japan it's not that popular at all. oh the humanity

Valentines day was nice, Kaneda took me out for breakfast, given that he was working the rest of the day up till midnight, and it was so sweet and quiet and intimate the way we shared that time, he gave me a gorgeous card that i adore and i spent my time before work running around and trying to find the one i'd seen that i wanted to give him, took me a while, but i found it - that and one for my princess: P figured since he's essentially my 'gay husband' (as i told someone else rather jokingly) but came home from clubbing and woke kaneda up to give him his card - he loved it, given that it was black and very simply put, not soppy or commercial, just elegant ... all in all things are starting to look up and i'm greatly looking forwards to it ... the slab is laid for our house and the rest should follow suit very very soon - we can't wait!!!

We wandered around the Gosnell’s markets for a while which was nice, saw tarot decks I like, saw a few candles that I’d really like to buy and burn, there was one that had Patchouli, Ylang Ylang and something else and it was just – gorgeous - but I’m making myself wait till after con, and after kaneda has sorted Darwin as well.

It was very hot when we were there, so we’re actually hoping to go back in the next couple of weeks in the late afternoon to evening, hopefully to see more activity … plus it will be all romantic like, I don’t often get the chance to indulge with kaneda like that.
