  • I know that, in order to have samba working with win98 I have to add this to the globals: lanman auth = Yes client lanman auth = yes client lanman = yes but .... what if I have a network with win98 AND!!!! winXP AND!!!

  • I looked at my server's smb. conf and found that lanman already had a yes by it.

  • 'client lanman auth' is disabled tree connect failed: SUCCESS - 0 the domain I know for sure is not right, and for local host ive tried localhost, my LAN IP, and hostname.
