I'm working as the user lfs and the configure-script is executable:

When chroot-ing to the system, the disks are sda for the ubuntu, and sdb for the lfs, and everything seems fine.

But when I try and boot to the lfs disk, it can't find the partition to load.

I'm not sure if there's a problem leaving the build compiled in root, being reliant on the host. edit: after chown lfs / tools / bin ... commands seem to work okay from lfs,

I went to/lfs-sources and there is a file called linux-2. 6.22.5.tar.bz2, is that it?
