- n. The last presentation in an academic or business conference with a broad thematic overview. Typically, the best known speakers or scholars at a conference give keynote and locknote addresses.
Kralj is a Microsoft senior architect and futurist, and he had the 'locknote' gig at TechEd 08.
In locknote if you open a file you have created in the past and change the text to a new note then click save as you will get your new note with the new name however you old note will be changed as well.
If you want to use locknote I would say it is best to just make a copy of the original note and edit the copy then trash the copy.
Sure the keynote and locknote speakers might get a fee - but those gigs don’t turn up all that often either.
