And I'd be inclined to say that it's not x264's bug, but something going wrong on muxing if matroska plays back fine on standalones etc.

At first i thought it was a bug in mpc's matroska splitter however i see the same in the new smm splitter, and to a lesser degree in haali.

I hope that the matroska container will be used for HTML 5 in the future, since it can support multiple streams, subtitles, and DVD-style menus ...
